Well, school is finally out. I have been on vacation for less than a week and I already love it. I have all kinds of plans for cleaning organizing, painting, you name I'm gonna do it (to my house). Honestly, I'm thrilled that I have this opportunity to get my house to where I would like it to be. We've lived here for nearly a year and still have unpacked boxes (which I've heard from many is quite common). BUT! I'm ready to unpack :o)
We just had my parents, grandparents, brother and his girlfriend over for a BBQ and it was fun. Patrick grilled ribs and chicken, roasted some corn on the cob-it was delicious.
Yesterday we went on a shopping spree to decorate. We got a bunch of stuff-and believe it or not Patrick was really having a good time. We went to Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, Z Gallerie-quite the adventure. But we came out with lots of fun stuff! I have a feeling I'm going to really like this staying home thing :o)
