Today I'm on a mission. I'm on a mission to find furniture I need for little cost. And I'm expecting to restore it. Wait, maybe I should finish the one piece I've started :o)
Wow restoring is such a huge project! It can be a lot of fun. Craiglist is a really good bet, and so is Goodwill. The Goodwill in Chandler (or is it Gilbert at that point?) on Mesa is a pretty good one. I like supporting Goodwill if I can... you can also find pretty good curtains there quite often.
Check out craigslist!!! Especially in Phx!! So many awesome things! Also try garage and estate sales or Goodwill and other second hand stores! =)
